Lady Liberty Legals invite only Modest Means Program offers vetted, high quality legal services to family court litigants with pending cases. The Program encompasses litigants who earn too much to qualify for Legal Aid, or other available pro bono services, but do not earn enough or possess sufficient assets to secure private counsel at the going market rates. Attorney participation is INVITE ONLY and voluntary. Attorneys who are approved to join agree to bill up to $100 per hour for their services, and to take reduced retainers of up to $2,000.
